Caleb Manuel (Topsham, ME) completed his sophomore season (2021-22) at UConn where he had a team-leading per round average of 70.94, with eight Top 10 and Manuel's two-year career average of 71.58 per round is the best in UConn golf's modern history.
Manuel, 20, transferred to the University of Georgia during the summer of 2022 and won his second consecutive Maine Amateur Championship. As a result, he qualified for the U.S. Amateur competing among some of the top players across the country.
Manuel also competed in the 2022 U.S. Open at The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts. The following week, he competed on the Korn Ferry Tour at the Live + Work in Maine Open at the Falmouth Country Club in Falmouth, Maine.
Manuel is a junior at the University of Georgia where he has already had an impact for the Bulldogs, playing in some key early matches. He is majoring in Sports Management and plans to play on PGA Tour.
Prior to college, he was a two-sport athlete at Mt. Ararat High School where he was a four-time All-State pick and two-time individual state champion and helped Mt. Ararat win two golf state championships.
