I Love Orono Fundraiser

Lulu Rucinski is a women's college hockey player from Orono, Minnesota. When she arrived at the University of Maine, she realized how much she also loved Orono, Maine. Lulu committed to play for the Black Bears in 2025, making it her college home and where she wanted to build her career as a Black Bear.

Since coming to Orono, Maine, Lulu has found several ways to give back to the local community that has supported her and her teammates. The I Love Orono fundraiser encourages people to show their passion for Orono, whether it's in Minnesota or Maine, and help raise awareness and funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maine.
